Ball mounts come in all popular sizes, 2" x 2", 1 1/4" x 1 1/4", and are used to convert a receiver from a weight distributing to a weight carrying hitch.
Ball mounts create a ball platform for attaching a hitch ball. The ball mounts or utility hitch bar length is determined by measuring from the center of the pull pin hole to the center of the hitch ball hole.
The drop or rise is determined by measuring from the top of the ball mount to the top of the tongue. (See ball mount selection chart)
All 2" x 2" ball mounts shank holes are 1" except for 48280 and 48282 which have a 3/4" hole. Use PN 48220 bushing to reduce 1" hole to 3/4".
